Receptionist - SEEDWAY - Hall, NY
SEEDWAY, headquartered in Hall, N.Y., markets one of the most extensive and diverse commercial vegetable seed product lines in the industry, sold from the Rocky Mountains to the East coast and in Ontario, Canada. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Performs general clerical and receptionist duties. Projects a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction. Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Answers phone and directs to appropriate staff member.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
May be required to cross-train and serve as backup for other administrative positions, working independently or in a team-oriented environment
May be required to drive to run local errands
May be required to process customer payments
Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
Performs all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 1 year or more of related office work experience to demonstrate computer proficiency and proper office communication etiquette.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Must be able to work extended hours when necessary
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
